If I understand this situation correctly, changes in a particular qunatum state are communicated instantly, or speed described as "thousands of times faster than the speed of light".

In fact, there is research and experimentation into using this characteristic to make faster and faster computers. Faster computers will enable larger tasks to be accomplished almost instantaneously.

And teleportation has already been demonstrated as a reality, although the distances have been limited and the material was photons.

If I can transfer information instantly over huge distances, almost instantly, then I may possibly be able to deconstruct something and reconstruct it at a distant point. Teleportation of a solid object.

This prompted me to think about "what is a soul?" or "what is the human consciousness?". If I can deconstruct the human consciousness and teleport it to a distance place with all memory intact, would I be willing to risk that?

And there are people who would tell me that God is not real. I think there is a lot of room for thinking that God may not be like the entity that was introduced to me when I was a child, but I do think there must be some intelligence to guide and direct life. However, I do not believe that God directs enevrything. There are things that are left to run the natural course, because for the Universe to continue to exist this must happen. Hence death of the body and suffering. But science increases my belief that a superior intelligence does exist.

While I was looking at some of the videos on YouTube, I stumbled across some about nanobots and the role they could play in medicene. By injecting some into the blood stream, many types of illnesses could be treated. They could be a cross between mechanical constructs and biological constructs. One even discussed currently experimentation of using bacteria for a propulsion system for a nanobot.

Science! Wow!
